Security Technologies

Camera and sensor housings, access control enclosures

The enclosure of a camera, sensor or access control device has to be protective and manufacturable at once. We design the housing, build its mould and integrate vision systems on your line.

(01) Our work

What we do for security technologies.

A security device works in the field for years. The strength, sealing and ease of assembly of its housing are set by the first design decisions.

  1. 01

    Camera and sensor housings

Sealed, snap fit and screwed cover solutions. Optical window, connector and mounting details are designed together.

  2. 02

    Access control enclosures

Moulds and production ready parts for panels, covers and mounting plates.

  3. 03

    Vision systems

Vision solutions made of camera, lighting and software, integrated into inspection and verification tasks.

  4. 04

    Test and assembly lines

Stations for device assembly and functional test. Outputs are recorded.

(02) Services

The services behind it.

The services used together most often in this industry. Each can also be taken on its own.

(03) Focus

What we focus on in this industry.

How the principles that hold on every project apply in this industry.

01

Strength and sealing

Housing geometry, seal groove and screw bosses are analysed at the design stage.

02

Appearance and dimensions

The mould surface and tolerance protect the design language and the fit at the same time.

03

Scalable production

The move from a single cavity prototype mould to a multi-cavity series mould is planned from the start.

(04) Questions

Frequently asked questions.

The questions we hear most in this industry, with short answers.

01

What matters when designing a camera or sensor housing?

The seal groove, screw bosses, optical window, connector exit and assembly method are handled together. Sealing and strength are analysed at the design stage and the design language of the product is kept.

02

How do you go from a prototype to a series mould for a housing?

The design is first validated with a single cavity prototype mould, then the move to a multi-cavity series mould follows. Because that move is planned from the start, dimensions and part structure do not change in the series stage.

03

What are vision systems used for?

Systems made of camera, lighting and software are used for part inspection, assembly verification and functional testing. The results are connected to the line through the PLC and recorded.

04

What information is needed for an access control enclosure?

A 3D model or drawing, the material and surface expectations, the annual volume and the assembly method. If there is no design yet we can start from an idea or a sketch.
